Sibu Balancing Facial Cleanser Review & Giveaway!

I got the chance to review the Sibu Beauty Balancing Facial Cleanser and was very pleased. Before I tell you about my results I'd like to introduce you to the Sibu Beauty company.

"The Sibu Beauty product line is based on a powerful and distinctive whole food source, the sea buckthorn berry. This super fruit is backed by more than 130 scientific studies demonstrating the miracle berry's success at addressing a variety of needs including improved skin tone and texture, healthy aging and digestive health."

Sibu Beauty's topical and ingestible product line are:
  • 100% Natural
  • USDA Certified Organic
  • Contain no preservatives, dairy, wheat, gluten, sodium or yeast
  • Paraben-free
  • Cruelty-free
  • Grown, harvested, processed and manufactured using fair-trade sea buckthorn

Also, the often elusive Omega 7 is found in the sea buckthorn berry, the key ingredient in all Sibu Beauty products, in addition to the more common Omega's 3, 6, and 9.  All four of these are critical in providing cellular support for healthy skin, hair and nails.

With the Sibu Beauty Balancing Facial Cleanser, I've noticed that my skin looks brighter and feels softer. I've been using it for over a month and definitely see how beneficial it is on my skin.

The cleanser contains micro-particles which gently scrubs your skin, leaving it smooth. It also has a very pleasant, invigorating fragrance. It's energizing and perfect for washing your face right after you wake up in the morning. It even does a great job at removing make-up and impurities.

Some areas of my face are oily so the Balancing Facial Cleanser has helped with removing excess oil. I'm left with a fresh, super clean face and I love that!

Sibu Beauty has been kind enough to let one of my readers win their own bottle of the Balancing Facial Cleanser! Enter below & good luck!

Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips - Influenster VoxBox

"If you're not whitening, you're yellowing"

A few weeks ago I received my first VoxBox from Influenster. I didn't know what product I was getting (they just mentioned that it was an oral product) until I opened the box. Inside was a full-size box of the Crest 3D White Whitestrips kit.
I've used whitening strips before but it was only one sample packet and I wasn't able to get the full effect of whitening. I was glad that this time I'd have 20 days to achieve whiter teeth!

Here's what Crest 3D White Whitestrips claim:
  • A whiter smile in just 3 days
  • Full results in 20 days
  • Professional-level results at a fraction of the cost vs. light and laser systems
  • Revolutionary Advanced Seal technology for no-slip whitening
  • New improved lower strip for more whitening coverage

I have noticed that my teeth are much whiter! I do not drink coffee regularly or smoke so I believe these strips made it that much easier to whiten my teeth. Using these strips was simple - for just 30 minutes daily for 20 days you can achieve a whiter, younger looking smile. =)

Hawaii: Climbing Diamond Head Crater

One iconic place I got to visit while vacationing in Hawaii was Diamond Head Crater. The climb to the top wasn't so bad. There was a long, steep staircase we had to hike up; this was the most difficult part because we got tired easily and our leg muscles got weak. It's definitely worth getting over this "obstacle" because the view from the top of Diamond Head is breathtaking! I got to take some great photos of the ocean and Waikiki.

Fort Ruger was in the interior of Diamond Head. It was the first US Military reservation on Hawaii.

Some areas of Diamond Head were used to film the television show Lost.

The staircase has 74 steps.

The round-trip hike on Diamond head takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Who came up with the name Diamond Head? Way back during the 19th century, British sailors thought there were diamonds within the rocks. These so-called diamonds were actually calcite crystals.

Diamond Head is a volcanic tuff cone. It is about 150,000 years old.

Relaunch of!

Influenster is a cool website where you earn badges by completing tasks like taking a survey, sharing on social networks, and writing reviews. The more actively you participate, the more chances you get to receive rewards and to get selected to try out products. Your Influenster score goes up the more you participate and you can compare it with other members of the community.

I love the new Influenster! The site is much more interactive. There are tons of areas to check out. I can spend a while reading reviews and reviewing products myself. I really like the member profile layout. You can view your Influenster score and badges all on the same page as well as programs you can qualify for and your recent activity.

Here is how my profile looks

One of the major changes Influenster has done is making the site invite-only. There are two ways to sign up:

1. Request an invitation through the website.

2. Get an invite from someone who is already a member.

I've been a member since April 2012 and I'm excited to be receiving my first VoxBox!
