Kiss Me Organics Matcha Green Tea Powder

Disclaimer: I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Kiss Me Organics

I've never tried matcha green tea powder so I was really curious to review Kiss Me Organics' Organic Matcha. I've heard many great things about it especially about the health benefits.

Some of those benefits include:
  • Metabolism booster
  • Improves skin health
  • Antioxidant rich
  • Increases energy
  • Improves memory
  • Helps you burn calories
  • Anti-aging
I really love that this matcha is organic and all natural. This means it contains no chemicals and is free of preservatives. Just 100% organic matcha! The resealable package is also a little bonus.

Organic matcha

You can make lattes, smoothies, and use the green tea powder for baking. I decided to make banana bread to see how it came out. Here are the results:

Banana bread

I did make the mistake of not adding a lot of matcha but that's ok! Trial and error. :)
I used about a teaspoon of the powder so maybe that's why it didn't turn out super green. Nonetheless, the banana bread was delicious.

Disclaimer: I received the mentioned products in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

With my husband being in the Navy he does a lot of work so his hands and feet get roughed up on a daily basis. His hands and feet always need some TLC! Work days are also the cause of sore muscles and back pain.

You can definitely notice the difference in the appearance of my mom's hands after applying Zim's Advanced Crack Creme.

I also want to add that the creme has a pretty strong scent. It smells very medicinal, but that's what it's for!

Zim's Max-Freeze Continuous Spray Formula

  • Greaseless
  • Vanishing scent
Minor aches
Muscle pain
Joint pain

I suffer from neck pain, caused by two past car accidents, so Zim's Max-Freeze helps to alleviate the aches I feel. My neck pain is usually worse in the morning after waking up and that is when I choose to use this.

Happiness Happens!

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post on behalf of Happy Family. All opinions are my own.

This post is overflowing with happiness! Recently, my husband was away for a couple months for RIMPAC. I made the choice to go to Florida to spend time with my family and friends while he was gone. When you have a toddler you know that they learn new things everyday so having a parent going away for a few months is tough on everyone.

While E was away, Z learned his alphabet, how to put his shoes on, and learned to point out numbers at the grocery store. We were ready to get back home after RIMPAC was over and I couldn't wait for Z to have his dad back. :)

I arrived back in San Diego last week and we're happy to be back home together!

Happiness Happens when we have each other.

The day we got back, I reintroduced Z to his playroom. He definitely missed all of his toys especially his Thomas the Train set. He played in his room for hours! (Rechargeable batteries are your best friend)

Z gets really happy when his dad gets home from work. Sometimes he even runs away so his dad can chase after him!

Happiness Happens when we go to the park.

National Happiness Happens Day falls on August 8th and Happy Family has been celebrating all month long.

Happy Family wants to see how you celebrate happiness by:

-Tweeting to @HappyFamily on Twitter and using the hashtag #HappinessHappens

-Submitting a video of your baby laughing, dancing, smiling, giggling, or just being HAPPY!
Prizes you can win include: OXO Sprout high chair, Maclaren Mark II Umbrella Stroller or $250 Babies-R-Us gift card!

3 winners will be randomly selected on August 13, 20, and 27.

What makes you happy?

Picky Eater? Try Happy Family Organic Super Nutrition Shakes!

Disclaimer: I received this product in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
Happy Family

If you haven't heard yet, Happy Family has introduced a new line of nutrition shakes for children. Happy Child Super Nutrition Shakes are currently available in two yummy flavors: Chocolate and Vanilla.

Sometimes the hardest task as a parent is getting your little one(s) to eat a balanced meal. Lots of times they aren't fan of vegetables. These organic healthy shakes are packed with:
  • Fruit
  • Vegetables
  • Vitamins
  • Minerals
  • Protein
  • Fiber

At two years old, my son loves fruit but doesn't really like to eat veggies. I can sneak vegetables in his diet through the Super Nutrition Shakes and not feel guilty. There are no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners.  :)

Happy Child Super Nutrition Shakes

Z decided that his favorite of the two flavors was vanilla. The shakes are shelf-stable but in my opinion taste much better when they are nice and cold.

Visit the Happy Family website to find a store near you.
You can also order online through the Happy Family store.

WoodSimpyMade + Military Coin Holder Giveaway!

Mike, the owner of WoodSimplyMade, is a disabled veteran having served 6 years active duty in the US Air Force. He makes handcrafted products from real wood - some of them include coin holders, business card holders, flag cases, shadow boxes, and custom clocks.

Here's my mini-interview with Mike:

How was WoodSimplyMade started?
I started with woodworking while I was in the service. I developed a disability and used woodworking to keep my mind occupied. With what started as a mental coping mechanism and a few hand tools transformed into what WoodSimplyMade is today. I was placed on disability from the service after 6 years active duty and now support my family doing custom woodworking, with a large emphasis on veteran gifts and products.

Name a favorite city or country you've visited.
I was born in Holland and raised for 13 years in Ireland, I moved to Florida at age 16 and joined the military at age 18.

Do you have a quote that inspires you?
I try to remind myself that all the worry in the world won't change the outcome of today.

What is your favorite memory as a child?
Doing arts and crafts at school, I guess it stuck with me since I kind of do it for a living now :)

If you could travel back in time for a day, which year would you pick?
I am content with where life has taken me, I wouldn't want to go back but instead look forward to the future.

Finish this sentence: Life is too short to...
Sweat the small stuff.

What made you smile this week?
My two month old baby boy! He is our first and my wife and I love him with all our hearts!

Mike has generously offered to give away one of his unique coin holders.
Winner will choose branch of service and personalized engraved name plate!

Open to US residents and APO/FPO addresses. Giveaway ends August 11th.
