Mother's Day is coming up and I have teamed up with Cascadian Farm again to bring you another fun giveaway.
This will be my 2nd year celebrating Mother's Day as a mother myself. When I was younger I always loved when Mother's Day came around. She raised me as a single mom so I made sure to show my appreciation for her. In school we'd make handmade crafts to bring home to our moms. The best part was seeing how happy she was receiving something so simple. Simple, but made from the heart. <3
Since we're a military family and always moving around the US, I'm not always there to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom. She's currently on the east coast while I'm on the west. We always keep in touch so we usually Skype each other on Mother's Day.
A few days ago I posted my first mom selfie to join Cascadian Farm in celebrating what being a mom means to me. Here was my first mom selfie I posted on Instagram:
As you can see it's not glamorous and I ended up with oatmeal on my shirt. Note to self: no more mom selfies with toddler while he's eating. ;)
